Busiido BJJ Club clinch more medals over the weekend

BUSIIDO Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) Club added more medals to their collection over the weekend.

Danish Jalal won gold in weight category at the English No-Gi Open BJJ Championship in London after defeating Connah Munday of Carlson Gracie Team in the final.

Meanwhile, at the Unity BJJ Championship in Sabah John Augustine Lee bagged one gold and one bronze in the no-gi weight and absolute categories

In the gi event, Lee claimed double silver in both weight and absolute categories.

It has been a busy year for Busiido BJJ Club this year as they competed in a number of regional and international tournaments.

Their latest outing prior to this was the Copa de Bangkok BJJ tournament in April where they bagged three gold, two silver and four bronze medals.

The club's head coach Eazy Anuar claimed gold in the purple belt weight category before winning the absolute event.

Dk Norfaziah Abas contributed another gold in weight event and bronze in absolute category.

Abi Umamah Ali bagged one silver and one bronze with Hj Abdul Hadi Bakir winning the other silver medal, meanwhile, Nobel Lee and Malek Ali claimed the other bronzes.
