Arbisyam extend unbeaten run in Brunei Futsal League

ARBISYAM FC picked up their fourth win and extended their unbeaten run in the Brunei Futsal League 2017 to six games after a 6-2 victory over Najip FT last night.

The win extends their unbeaten run to six games and puts them on 14 points and opens up a four-point gap from second place Shah United, who beat Rizfiz FT 3-0 in the other match.

Arbisyam only needed 19 seconds to break the deadlock courtesy of Muhd Rifdi Meludin at the Multipurpose Hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.

Syazwan Hj Hassan doubled their lead with a header before Muhd Rifdi added his second of the game to see Arbisyam carry a 3-0 lead into halftime.

Syazwan and Muhd Azizul Syafiee Tajul Arifin added two more for Arbisyam.

Mohammad Nur Ariff Sambrin pulled one back for Najip off a freekick and cut the deficit to three after a goal by Mohammad Zambree Damit with just over 10 minutes to play.

Muhd Rifdi sealed the triumph by completing his hat-trick with over five minutes left.

Arbisyam can extend their lead at the top of the eight-team standings tonight when they take on Rizfiz at 9pm.

The earlier match pits Eagle Blues FC against MS ABDB (the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council) at 7pm.
