Brunei win five silver and three bronze at Thailand Sports School Games

BRUNEI Darussalam Sports School bagged five silver and three bronze medals at the 20th Thailand Sports School Games.

The seven-athlete contingent only participated in pencak silat and karate at the annual tournament which kicked off on Thursday at Nakhon Sawan.

The first two silver medals came from men's and women's seni tunggal event, while the remaining silvers were from the men's and women's tanding event.

The pencak silat team won another bronze in men's tanding event before the karate team capped off the campaign with another two bronze medals in their respective events.

A total of 23 sports competed at the multi-sport event participated by more than 20 sports school from Asean countries namely Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.
