“We are all happy and grateful to DST for their support,” said Hj Madli after the signing ceremony.

“This is proof that DST cares about Brunei football and wants to help develop Brunei football further.

“This year’s league will feature AFC (Asian Football Confederation) B licence coaches in every DST Super League club in order to improve the quality of the competition,” he added.

“NFABD has many plans for this year and one of the highlights of the year so far has been the AFC A licence coaching certificate obtained by six local coaches - the first for the country,” continued the NFABD deputy president.

The 2017 DST Super League is scheduled to kick off on Wednesday with the Charity Shield (Sumbangsih Cup) clash between the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council (MS ABDB) and Indera SC at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.

Meanwhile, the DST Futsal Cup for Orphans 2017 will be held this Sunday at the NFABD House with registration starting at 7am.

The final and third place playoff is scheduled to kick off at 11am.
