DPMM FC will be looking to make it three wins in a row for the first time this season when they host Balestier Khalsa FC in the Singapore Premier League tonight.

The Brunei side are coming off a 2-0 victory over Tampines Rovers FC - their first cleansheet of the season - at Our Tampines Hub in Singapore on Wednesday. This comes after a 2-1 comeback win over Warriors FC at home last Saturday.

DPMM FC coach Rene Weber (pic) is in a positive mood and hopes to build on the winning streak.

“I want to win more games in a row but hopefully there will be no rain as our field (Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas) is very good,” said Weber in an interview with BruSports News yesterday.

“But when it rains it becomes heavy but of course the opponents will also feel the same.

“I want good weather because I like to see our team play quickly with good passing,” he added.

The last time the two teams met saw DPMM FC come back from an early deficit to win 2-1 at the Toa Payoh Stadium in SIngapore on May 13.

Hazzuwan Halim had given the Tigers a second minute left before Volodymr Pryyomov equalise 10 minutes into the second half.

It was an Adi Said penalty in the 64th minute that allowed the Brunei side to claim all three points.
