MS ABDB win third straight DST Super League title

MS ABDB successfully defended their DST Super League crown after Kota Ranger were held to a 1-1 draw against Tabuan Muda A last night.

Kota Ranger trailed by four points the armymen by four point and needed a victory to stay in the title race.

They got off to a good start and grabbed the lead through Md Faiz Farhan Kamat in the 25th minute at the Balapan Track & Field in Berakas.

But their hopes of winning their first title were completely dashed after Md Nur Ashyraffahmi Nor Samri equalised for Tabuan Muda A nine minutes from time.

With only a game left in the season, both teams can still finish with the same number of points as MS ABDB are on 49 points while Kota Ranger are three points back.

However, MS ABDB hold a superior goal difference (+62) compared to Kota Ranger (+34).

The season will come to a close with a matchup between MS ABDB and Indera SC some time this month.
