DPMM FC to take on Guangxi Pingguo Haliao and EPL Legends

DPMM FC fans will get to catch the new-look team in action twice in the Sultanate this month.

They will begin their pre-season as they face off against Chinese League 1 side Guangxi Pingguo Haliao on April 20th at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.

The 2019 Singapore Premier League champions will take on the EPL legends on the 30th.

These will be first games in charge for new head coach Rui Capela Batista.

DPMM FC have retained two foreign players from last season - goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski and Afghanistan national Farshad Noor.

The new signings so far are 20-year-old Brazilian Gabriel Gama, Portuguese winger Miguel Oliveira and Mexican striker Julio Cruz.

DPMM FC had previously announced the release of six of their local mainstays - Md Hendra Azam Md Idris, Helmi Zambin, Razimie Ramlli, Azizi Ali Rahman and Ak Fakharazzi Pg Hj Hassan.

This move was to make way for young blood to join the roster.

This includes the additions of Muhammad Syafiq Safiuddin Abdul Shariff, Faturrahman Embran, Mohammad Nazry Aiman Azaman, Abdul Hariz Herman.

The duo of Safwan Azwan and Muhd Danish Firdaus Roddy Suhardy were promoted from the academy to the first team.

The Singapore Premier League is scheduled to begin on May 10.
