DPMM FC defeated the PL Legends 4-2 in an exhibition match as part of the Imagine Football Fiesta on Tuesday night.
Jermaine Pennant opened the scoring for the PL Legends in the 10th minute with a strike from inside the box.
DPMM FC equalised through Rosmin Hj Kamis with a shot from the edge of the box to beat Paul Rachubka in between the PL Legends sticks.
The hosts took the lead after Muhd Faturrahman Embran headed home from close range.
He almost got a second after rounding Rachubka only to put the ball narrowly wide to end the 40-minute first half.
DPMM FC made it 3-1 just five minutes after the restart at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.
Muhammad Hanif Farhan Azman was sent through and he rounded Ruchabka to put the ball into an empty net.
The PL Legends were awarded a penalty after Safwan was caught by DPMM FC custodian Muhammad Ishyra Asmin Mohd Jabidi.
Dmitar Berbatov stood at the spot but Safwan took matters into his own hands to take the spot kick.
He made no mistake to fire down the middle from 12 yards out to cut the deficit to one.
DPMM FC got their fourth of the night in the 54th minute courtesy of a stunning strike from outside the area by Muhd Syafiq Safiuddin Abdul Shariff.
Daniel Webber had an opportunity but watched his shot go just wide seven minutes from time.
He then bulged the net after skipping past his defender but was waved off and the referee blew his whistle as the last action of the match.
