PROPEL will begin their YOU.C1000 Cup campaign against Ekonic in Group D on Monday.
Brunei's generational talent Esmond Tan will be spearheading the team this time around.
"We have not set any specific targets yet but we are looking to take it one game at a time," said Esmond in an interview with BruSports News.
"But of course, the ultimate goal is to win (the competition)," he added.
He will be joined by his Borneo Cup teammates, national coach Ben Sim and Yong Yaw Ren.
They also have the size with the frontcourt duo of Miri veteran player Voon Yiew Ting and Chinese national Zhang Yu.
Leading the charge at the backcourt is the pair of Alvin Goh and Lim Aik Hock.

Rounding off the roster are Han Ming Kwang, Mike Teo, Ting Heng Lee, Tan Ye Wei and 18-year-old Wong Jun Yuan.
"With new players blending into the team including myself, it will take time to fully adjust," said Esmond.
"But the existing players (from last year) already got some chemistry together," added the 41-year-old.
Ekonic is made up mainly of Filipino players with the additions of national guard Ahmad Termizi Hj Noordeen and the lanky Gassim Elsheikh.
They also have three-point shooter Al Jauhali on the roster.
Tech G are the other team in their group with only the winners guaranteed direct passage into the quarters while the other two enter the playoffs.
When asked on which teams to watch out for, Esmond replied: "Every team is a threat.
"There is no guarantee to anything in the tournament," he concluded.
