Adi Salihin wins fourth straight gold at SEA Games

NATIONAL wushu athlete Mohammad Adi Salihin Roslan showed pure dominance by clinching gold in the men's nandao, nangun and nanquan combined event at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand.

He produced the best score for each individual event for a total of 29.329 points in the field of 11 athletes to finish top of the podium at the Chaeng Watthana Government Complex.

This is the fourth consecutive SEA Games that the 25-year-old, who is Brunei's most decorated sportsperson, has struck gold.

Randall Lim Yi Jie of Singapore came in second place with 29.242 points followed by Bryan Ti Jai Jie of Malaysia with 29.225 points.

Basma Lachkar claimed a silver medal in the women's taijiquan and taijijian combined event.

She tallied 19.55 points finishing only second to Agatha Wong of the Philippines.

The pair of Majdurano Joel Mahallah Sain and Abel Lim Wee Yuan bagged the bronze in the men's duilian with their haul of 9.736 points.

Thailand won the gold with 9.763 points followed by Indonesia with their score of 9.740 points.
