EASYWAY stamped their class over Peak with a 106-44 victory in Group A of the YOU.C1000 Cup on Sunday.
Seven players for into double figures for Easyway with Jake Chong leading the way with a game-high of 21 points.
Kelvin Chai notched 20 while Lim Liang Wei added 17.
Jayden Chen poured in 12 while the trio of Darren Lee, Daniel Sim and Jonathan Lim chipped in 10 each in the triumph.
On the other hand, Tung Yee Keong topscored for Peak with 12 points and Tan Kun Hor added nine in the loss.
It was close for the opening five minutes with Easyway leading by two possessions at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
They opened up a 10-point lead after Chong completed a three-point play to make it 21-11 with over a minute left.
Chen knocked down a trey just before the buzzer to put Easyway up 27-14 going into the second frame.
Peak had trouble handling the rock and turned the ball over easily.
Easyway made them pay the price on the break.
They also easily sliced through the Peak defence and found themselves up 45-16 midway through the second period.
It was one-way traffic and the gap ballooned to 62-24 at the interval.
Easyway didn't let off and made three consecutive treys to begin the second left and they led by 50 points with 6:43 left in the third.
They eventually broke the century mark with 1:43 to play in regulation enroute to their first win.
OBS will take on CH Elite in Group B at 8.30pm on Monday.
