DEFENDING champions Wan Sing showed no mercy and annihilated Digimark 156-51 in Group B of the YOU.C1000 Cup on Saturday.
They started the match will full court man to man defence for 12 straight points.
Digimark picked up their game and trailed 21-12 at the end of the first stanza at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
But it was over by halftime as Wan Sing outscored their opponents 45-10 in the second period.
Joven Dungog fired his way to a game-high of 35 points for Wan Sing.
Hansel Enopia notched 25 points while Absar Amin added 22.
Eric Palanca dropped 16 points while the duo of Asi Medina and Vinelson Escober poured in 16 and 14 respectively.
On the other side, Lim Jia Hao scored 16 points for Digimark.
Two more matches will be contested on Sunday.
Hoopsters will take on Linktech in the women's category at 7pm.
The battle for a quarter-finals berth between Car Care and Tech G will follow at 8.30pm.
