BUNNIES clinched Circuit 1 of the 2nd Brunei 3x3 Championship 2025 after dispatching Fatties 15-13 in the final on Sunday.
It was revenge for Bunnies as they had lost to the same opponents by the same scoreline in the round-robin stage.
Asi Medina had the hot hands to finish with a game-high of 10 points for Bunnies while Joven Dungog added four in the triumph.
On the other side, Kelvin Chai led the way with seven points in the defeat.
Bunnies got off to a good start before Fatties got things going at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
They clawed their way back to make it 7-5 before a two-pointer courtesy of Chai made it a four-point gap.
Medina then scored back-to-back baskets - making it seven consecutive points for his side.
Dungog then followed with back-to-back two-pointers to close in to 13-12 resulting in Fatties calling a timeout.
Bunnies went in front after Medina converted a hoop and harm before knocking down the ensuing freethrow to make it 14-13 with 1:25 left.
Fatties had their chances but simply couldn't convert.
Dungog missed from behind the arc and Medina secured the offensive rebound for a putback to make it a two-point game with 10 seconds to play.
Chan Yung Ken then turned the ball over the next possession to allow Bunnies to claim the win.
Oldies won the bronze after overcoming Alam Bumi 13-10 in the third-place match.
Circuit 2 will be held on August 17 at the Tutong Chung Hwa School Basketball Court.
