JAMIE ON clinched Circuit 2 of the 2nd Brunei 3x3 Basketball Championship 2025 after beating Fatties 21-16 in the final on Sunday.
It was distributed scoring for Jamie On as all three starters - Lim Liang Wei, Ahmad Termizi Hj Noordeen and Jaron On - notched seven points apiece.
On the other side, Chan Yung Ken tried to keep his side in the match with 10 points in the defeat.
Jamie On was in front most of the game and jumped out to five-point lead at the Tutong Chung Hwa Basketball Court.
Fatties then went on a 5-0 run to see things tied at 10-10 with 4:30 left to play.
Jaron connected on a jumper to stop the rot and he dropped a two-pointer the next possession.
Mizi followed that up with a steal and a long range basket to make it 18-11.
Al-Fariq Affendy got one to go and Chan hit one from behind the arc to stay within reach.
Jaron went to the basket for a layup and the former replied by banking in a three to make it 19-16.
It was game over the next trip as Jaron was left wide open for a corner two-pointer for the win with 43 seconds left.
This is the second straight time that Fatties finished as the bridesmaid.
They overcame Titans 15-14 in a thrilling semi-finals after Chan converted a three-point play late on to move into the title decider.
Over in the third-place playoff, Titans bagged the bronze with a 22-6 victory over Oldies.
