Artyzen Autolab edge BNS to win 1st Propel Women’s 3×3 Tournament

ARTYZEN AUTOLAB clinched the 1st Propel Women's 3x3 Tournament after edging BNS 15-14 in the final on Sunday.

Annikah Iosefo-Schuster topscored for Artyzen with seven points while Trisha Lai added five.

On the other side, Lim Giuk Ting paced BNS with a game-high of eight points.

Rachael Lee and Vanessa Pang notched three points each in a losing effort.

BNS led most of the way as they were taking it into the paint for Lim to score.

Annikah kept her side in the match with six straight points at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.

BNS led by as many as three points and were up 12-9 after a layup by Lee with 4:20 left.

Lai replied with a two-pointer the next possession before Lim answered with a basket.

The game was tied after Chloe Chen dropped a two-pointer to make it 13-13 with 2:37 left to play.

Both sides couldn't buy a bucket for the next minute before Pang connected on a jumper only for it to be waved off.

BNS went back in front courtesy of a freethrow by Lim with over a minute left.

Lai scored on a layup the next possession and was fouled in the process.

She knocked down the ensuing freethrow that proved to be the difference between the two sides.

Meanwhile, the Rookies bagged the bronze after defeating LC Enterprise 7-3 in the third-place playoff.

They created a gap after Eloise Foray beat the buzzer with a two-pointer with a minute left.

She then iced the game with a freethrow with 45 seconds to play.

The Rookies also won the Under-18 category of the competition.

Six Seven took home the silver while Hamphrey completed the podium.
