THE 10-pin bowling team secured a joint-bronze medal in the men's trios at the 2nd SEA Deaf Games in Jakarta on Sunday.
The team of Khairul Anwar Hj Jofari, Mohammad Nazri Hj Mahat and Md Hariz Hassan recorded a total of 3,158 pinfalls to place third out of six teams at the Jaya Ancol Bowling Center.
Malaysia 1 (Mohd Zaidi, Ho Choon Seong and Mohd Firdaus) won the gold with 3,732 pinfalls followed by the Philippines (George C Maniozo, Lorenzo Gabriel M Gonzales and Kristofferton Ivan Burgos) with 3,572 pinfalls.
Malaysia 2 (Muhammad Firdaus Ahmad, Muhammad Haziq and Agan Ballang Kapong) took the joint-bronze with their score of 3,356 pinfalls.
Brunei will end the August 20-26 competition with three bronze medals after Md Amiruddin Hj Md Zain secured two of them in athletics.
