PROPEL claimed third place after edging SGTB 58-54 in the YOU.C1000 Cup on Saturday.
Kenny Lim topscored for Propel with 18 points while Alvin Goh added 14 in the victory at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
On the other side, Alsaid Jauhali notched a game-high of 23 points to pace SGTB.
Gerald Balaota was the other in double figures with 18 in a losing effort.
The game was deadlocked at 38-38 midway through the third period.
Propel had nine unanswered points before Louie Escopete hit a field goal to see the former lead 47-40 going into the final frame.
Both teams picked up the intensity in the last 10 mins and SGTB cut the deficit to 47-50 with six minutes to play courtesy of a trey by Jauhali.
Propel eventually led 57-52 in the final two minutes.
Turnovers didn't help STGB's cause and Balaota stepped out of bounds with 47 seconds left.
Propel had to win the game from the line then on with SGTB fouling to stop the clock.
Darren Chai missed both his freethrows eight second later but Lim grabbed the offensive rebound.
He then split his charities before Jauhali missed his three at the other end to see Propel bag the bronze.
