BRUNEI will be sending four swimmers to the 7th Commonwealth Youth Games (CYG) in Trinidad and Tobago.
This was confirmed during a flag handing over ceremony at the Digadong Hall of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports on Monday morning.
The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Hj Nazmi Hj Mohamad handed over the Brunei flag to chef de mission Hj Mohammad Rosfazilah Hj Yusly.
The trio of Zeke Chan, Joel Ling and Hayley Wong have no time to rest after coming off competing at the World Aquatics Championships in Japan.
They are now joined by Sharmeen Mohammad Mharvin for the August 4 - 11 Games.
The contingent will depart the Sultanate on Tuesday afternoon.
Brunei last competed at the 2015 edition of the Games in Samoa where they contested in athletics and swimming.
