ESB VALKYRIE returned with the joint-bronze from the MLBB Women's Invitational (MWI) 2025 - Mekong Qualifier earlier this month.
The competition saw representatives from Brunei, hosts Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Timor Leste contest for a spot at the eSports World Cup.
Brunei's selection for the May 30 - June 7 qualifier in Ho Chi Minh City was made up of Noreisya Ruzi, Nur Ainaa Bar'iah Hj Rosmin, Nurfarizna Nabila Mohd Zaidy, Siti Hassjiattul Mohammad Hassrin and Tsok Fang Lin.
Headed by coach Md Zulkarnain Hj Mohd Zulkifli, they opened their campaign with a 2-0 win over KK Neo of Laos.

They then fell to Vietnam's Virtus Pro 2-0 but it was enough for them to finish runners-up in their group and progress to the semi-finals.
However, ESB Valkyrie were stopped in their tracks 3-0 by RLGV of Vietnam in the last-four.
Virtus Pro eventually won the qualifiers after beating RLGV 4-0 at the Vikings Esports Stadium.
Over in the M Challenge Cup Season 5 Mekong Qualifiers 2025, ESB Titans didn't make it out of the group stage.

They lost 2-0 to Niightmare Esports of Laos in the first match.
Their qualifiers then came to an end after falling 2-1 to RLGV.
