MD AMIRUDDIN Hj Md Zain ran to two new national records enroute to two bronze medals at the 2nd SEA Deaf Games in Indonesia.
The first came in the men's 800m event after he crossed the line with a time of 2.12.20 to place third out of five participants at the Student Sports Training Centre in Ragunan on Friday.
It was one-two finish for Malaysia with Azlan Kuste finishing top of the podium with a time of 2.03.97.
Aidil A Asyraf Juakim followed on 2.05.21.
The second bronze was from the 1500m event after he finished with a new record time of 4.40.49 on Saturday.
It was the same placements for the event with Azlan taking gold on 4.27.03 followed by Aidil on 4.36.82.
