THE annual YOU.C1000 Cup will tip off on Friday (June 5) at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
This year's contest will see a total of 10 teams split into two groups battle it out.
Most of the players from last year's winners will lace up for Amboy's Cup and they are drawn in Group A together with Propel x Teik Goldsmith, The Defender, Ekonic and Linktech.
Group B comprises Wan Sing, Easyway, JM Squad, Tech G Enterprise and Fateh.
The top two teams in each group will advance into the semi-finals slated for July 1.
Over in the women's category, the competition has attracted a total of five teams.
Defending champions Propel x Teik Goldsmith (W) will be looking to defend their crown against CJMM, Mango Cake, Minimau and Hoopsters.
The newly introduced Boy's Under-18 category will see Hana Boyz, Honey Carsmart, The Rookies and Faze battle it out for top honours.
The teams will face off against one another in the preliminary stage for placement before entering the semis.
A three-point contest for all three categories will also be contested this year.
The first match will see Mango Cake take on Hoopsters at 7pm.
The second pits The Defender against Amboy's Cup at 8.30pm.
Meanwhile, the opening ceremony is scheduled for Saturday.
