PROPEL x Teik Goldsmith began their title defence in the women's category of the YOU.C1000 Cup with a dominant 88-11 victory on Sunday.
Rachael Lee was the topscorer for the match with 19 points for Propel x Teik Goldsmith.
Mayble Ling added 17 while the duo of Tong Sing Ching and Lim Giuk Ting notched 15 and 10 respectively.
On the other side, Candy Jong dropped five points for Minimau.
The opening frame ended 21-4 and it was evident where the match was heading at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
Minimau then went without a single basket for over one and half quarters seeing them drop to their second consecutive loss in as many nights.
Meanwhile, Tech G came from behind to defeat Fateh 74-58 in Group B.
The tournament resumes on Monday with two more matches.
CJMM will take on Hoopsters in the women's category at 7pm.
The second match pits Amboy's Cup against Ekonic in Group A at 8.45pm.
