WAN SING came back from 18 points down to edge Fateh 71-68 in Group B of the YOU.C1000 Cup on Saturday.
Fateh got their largest lead while up 30-12 two minutes into the second quarter.
Wan Sing closed to within a single possession in between but trailed 64-52 with six minutes to play.
They then used a 17-1 run to turn it around and snatch the win at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
Eric Palanca put Wan Sing infront for the first time after he grabbed the offensive rebound for a putpack to make it 65-64 with 1:37 to go.
They made it a three-point game with Asi Medina knocking down a turnaround jumper with 44.7s left on the clock.
Lim Liang Wei split his freethrows and Wan Sing ran down the clock the next possession.
The ball got in the hands of Medina and he converted another jumper with 16 seconds remaining.
Ahmad Termizi Hj Noordeen got a three-pointer to fall with three seconds left for Fateh.
But it proved to late as Medina knocked down both his charities to complete the comeback for their first win.
Palanca and Medina each finished with 14 points for Wan Sing.
The duo of Sean Parpa and Vinelson Lico notched 12 apiece in the triumph.
On the other hand, Mizi poured in the game-high of 19 points to lead Fateh.
Lim Liang Wei added 14 while Shahrun Zulkifli and Christopher Sangrones chipped in 13 and 10 respectively in the collapse.
The semi-finals of the Under-18 category will be contested on Sunday.
Honey Carsmart will be up against The Rookies in the first game at 7pm.
The second match pits Hana Boyz against Faze at 8.45pm.
