EASYWAY sealed their spot in the semi-finals of the YOU.C1000 Cup after defeating Fateh 80-48 in Group B on Sunday.
All 12 players for Easyway got their names on the scoreboard at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
Chan Yung Ken led the way with a game-high of 16 points while the duo of Hj Ahmed AlFariq Hj Bahrom Affendy and Gassim Elsheikh each had 12.
Jake Chong was the other in double figures with 10 in the victory.
On the other hand, Fateh were without Lim Liang Wei for the encounter.
Ahmad Termizi Hj Noordeen finished with a team-high of 15 points and Hadi Aj added 13 to a losing cause.
Easyway had stuck their noses in front 20-14 at the end of the opening period.
They soon opened up a double-digit gap and were in control 39-24 at halftime.
The advantage grew to 20 points by the end of the third frame as Easyway picked up their third win.
Placement for Group B will only be decided after the last group stage match between JM Squad and Wan Sing at 9pm on Monday.
JM Squad will finish top if they can avoid defeat against Wan Sing.
Meanwhile, the latter will require a victory of more than 30 points to advance as the runner-up and knock JM Squad out.
