WAN SING switched gears in the second half to dispose of JM Squad 84-64 in Group B on Tuesday to move into the semi-finals of the YOU.C1000 Cup.
The result puts them in a three-way tie together with Tech G Enterprise as they all finished with a 2-2 win-loss record.
They advanced based on point differential: Wan Sing (+16), JM Squad (+7) and Tech G (-23).
JM Squad were on the verge of a place in the last-four while trailing 76-64 with a minute to play at the BBA Court in Batu Bersurat.
However, Wan Sing scored eight unanswered points to turn it in their favour to secure their spot.
Wan Sing had five players post double figures with Sean Parpa leading the way with 24 points.
Asi Medina added 17 and Eric Palanca contributed 16.
Leonil Espina and Aristeo Fullado poured in 12 and 11 respectively in the triumph.
On the other side, Francis Juelar topscored for JM Squad with 11 points.
JM Squad had the better start to open up a 23-15 lead at the end of the opening period.
They stayed in front 41-32 at halftime. It was after the interval that Wan Sing went in front after outscoring their opponents 26-10 in the third stanza.
The semi-finals will be contested on Wednesday.
Wan Sing will face Group A winners Propel x Teik Goldsmith in the first match at 7pm.
The second last-four matchup will see Group B winners Easyway up against Amboy's Cup at 8.45pm.
