EASYWAY clinched the bronze in the YOU.C1000 Cup after defeating Wan Sing 89-76 in the third-place playoff on Friday.
Jake Chong led the way for Easyway with a 20-point performance.
Kelvin Chai added 15, all coming from behind the arc, and Nicholas Yip chipped in 14 in the win.
On the other hand, the duo of Alsaid Jauhali and Sean Parpa dropped 18 apiece for Wan Sing.
Daniel Sim and Asi Medina contributed 15 and 10 respectively in a losing effort.
Easyway stayed in front with strong outside shooting and opened up a 43-30 lead by halftime.
They led by as many as 19 points after Yip knocked down a jumper to make it 53-34 three minutes into the second half.
Wan Sing played more aggressively and eventually got to within nine points.
A trey courtesy of Chong weathered the storm to make it 65-53 with 1:20 left in the third leading to a Wan Sing timeout.
A corner three-pointer by Chai late on ensured Easyway stay ahead 68-55 going into the final frame.
Easyway went with man-to-man defence to slow their opponents down.
Both sides traded baskets and Easyway were never really troubled as they remained in control to claim third spot.
The final between Propel x Teik Goldsmith and Amboy's Cup will be contested at 7.45pm on Saturday.
