NATIONAL sprinters Nazul Putera Faiez Firdaous Fakhri Zul Khairi and Nur Syafiqah Abdullah Md Mukhlis dashed their way to new personal bests at the 23rd Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Nazul Putera Faiez Firdaous managed a time of 10.81 seconds to place sixth in heat 1 of men's 100m event on Monday.
It bettered his previous best of 11.08s as he finished in 53rd position out of 73 contestants at the Scotstoun Stadium.
On the other hand, Nur Syafiqah crossed the line with a time of 13.46s in heat 8 of the women's 100m event.

Her previous best time was 13.54s as she placed 50th overall out of 52 participants.
Emmanuel Eseme of Cameroon set a new Games record to win gold in the men's 100m final with a time of 9.83 seconds.
He edged out Australia's Lachlan Kennedy, who set a new national record, by just 0.02 seconds in a photo finish.
Over in the women's 100m final, Zoe Hobbs of New Zealand finished top of the podium with a new Oceania record of 10.93s.
